Ahahahahahahaha, Broo doesn't do 'brief'.
Luckily (or unluckily), afore mentioned Broo is now useless at work and thus, has been cast aside to the slums of the office (mainly, the front door) where she draws pictures using eyeliner, guzzles large amounts of Nerds, and generally looks 'busy' while checking her email ever 10 minutes.
Thus, hopefully these will eventually get done.
Today, she has filed exactly one paper. She is so proud.

Relationships
-
Intimate - Riku: Roxas' first friend, as well as his first hutmate. When he came to the island, the two had similar personalities and though they clashed often, both being rather stubborn, they soon developed a friendship. Both with Roxas regaining memories that were not his own, but in fact those of his Other, Sora, and Riku being able to sense Sora through Roxas, the friendship grew into something more, though perhaps not for the best reasons. Despite this somewhat problematic catalyst to their relationship, they were still always there for each other, often withdrawing from others to sit quietly with each other, reading or simply thinking. Within a few weeks, Sora himself washed up on the island and he and Riku were instantly drawn to each other. Roxas felt almost immediately that he was nothing more than a substitute to take Sora's place until the real Sora arrived and that he was once more his Others shadow. It being natural that Sora and Riku would gravitate towards each other, Roxas and Riku's relationship sort of tore itself apart through a series of fights and Roxas giving up and stepping down, knowing some of Sora's thoughts and emotions from the bond the two share. Right now, Roxas and Riku's relationship is practically nonexistent, as Roxas cannot even stand anyone mentioning the other boys name. He feels Riku is a coward, a traitor, and a backstabbing, opportunist asshole.
Namine: After Riku, Roxas was everything but willing and wanting to enter a new relationship; if anything, he drew further into himself, more likely to glare at someone in response, and flinching away from physical contact - even something as simple as a hand on his shoulder. It was during this time that Roxas met Namine and felt an instant connection and attachment to. Unwilling and afraid to involve himself up to a point where he might feel ghosts of emotions, he tried to find out as much as he could without getting attached. Unfortunately (and probably fortunately), Namine slowly but surely weaseled her way into his daily life, gently smoothing out his wrinkles one by one. She made him very uncomfortable at first, always with a shy smile on her face, with her like to be in physical contact with him at any given moment. After weeks of having the girl fall asleep in his lap, nestled with her head against his painfully empty chest, and many a walk down by the beach and in the forest where small, pale fingers grabbed his own and refused to let go, he began to warm up. Namine was his confidant and soon became almost his everything, all his time spent outside or with others being almost completely with her. A certain incident between the two was the first splinter, and after clearing his head of his clouding depression, Roxas realized that perhaps it wasn't healthy. Slowly, but surely, the two began drifting apart until Roxas officially ended it. The two parted on somewhat stable ground, but later met and, thanks to Roxas' mouth, left that meeting on seriously bad terms. They haven't spoken since and thinking about it still makes him angry, but he still obviously cares for Namine very, very much.

Friends - Sora: The Keyblade Master, his Other, and his best friend, Sora is essentially everything Roxas is not. Being so involved, they two have had a very complicated relationship over their time on Moogle Island, being the first time that the two have co-existed. The easiest way to explain all this is to explain the three Stages of Sora, both to spare my own eyes from giant paragraph death, as well as yours.
Stage 1: In Which Roxas Holds Sora in Much Contempt
The first time Roxas ever met Sora was because of Riku's almost constant chatter about the brunette. Wary, yet curious, by nature, Roxas couldn't resist finding out who this other guy was that was making Riku come back to the hut looking so content and at peace. Sora came across as a much younger person, one who ate too much sugar, was far too hyperactive and didn't have a somber bone in him; nor an off button. He simply struck Roxas as inexplicably strange and the blond felt uneasy whenever he was around his Other. Due to the lack of memories, the two had no idea that they were so intricately bonded, and Roxas simply categorized the strangeness he felt around Sora as dislike. This unease grew to jealousy the more time Riku spent with Sora and an eventual loathing when Roxas felt he'd been shoved to the back seat; Sora taking his place and basically crumbling Roxas' relationship with Riku. The blond and the brunette had nothing in common and Roxas couldn't stand his upbeat personality or meddling attitude - not understanding why Sora just couldn't understand that Roxas would rather fall off a clock tower than spend even a minute with him in conversation.
Stage 2: In Which Roxas Receives Memories That Are Not His Own and Takes a Peek Inside Sora's Head
Wanting to have nothing to do with Sora, Roxas stood far, far away for as long as he could manage. Unfortunately, it seemed the brunette decided to bother him even in his sleep, when Roxas would dream and be able to see through Sora's eyes or see Sora's memories of the day. At first he simply thought these were dreams - still not aware that the two shared a heart - and brushed them off. However, when he saw certain events(~!) and they were confirmed the next day by someone on the island, he confronted Sora and demanded to know why he was being forced to view bits of Sora's heart. Clueless, the two boys tried to figure out why, discovering that they both had similar memories, and that a few of Roxas' memories actually belonged to Sora. During this time they developed a grudging understanding - or at least Roxas did. He still hated spending time with the peppy brunette but was too curious about why there seemed to be this link between them. On top of being able to view Sora's memories in his sleep, Roxas found that he could also mess with Sora's head, often hiding memories from him or going through memories much like files and snooping into Sora's life whenever he felt like it. Slowly, the two figured out that they could communicate telepathically, often holding entire conversations in a place Roxas came to eventually know as the Room of Heart. Despite Roxas initially believing it was located in his and Sora's minds, they later found out that it was instead located in Sora's heart - Roxas not having one. They never referred to it as the Room of Heart however, simply calling it the 'connection'. In the RoH both had physical bodies and could talk, see and hear the other, much like being in an actual earthly place. Many physical fights and arguments took place here, as well as many more understandings. Seeking help and someone with more answers as to why they had this strange connection, they turned to Xemnas, who Roxas had a vague recollection of. The Superior of Organization XIII, Xemnas knew instantly that Roxas was a Nobody, and the respective Other to Sora - a physical manifestation of the other side of Sora's heart.
Stage 3: In Which Roxas Finds His Light
Roxas has never had very many friends, and has always been socially awkward and not very good at first impressions. Maybe this is why Sora's presence, however annoying it was at first, became something he craved. It was proof that not everyone had given up on him the way he'd given up on himself. When you're a selfish kid with no memory, no heart and an aching soul, who's lived forever in the cellar, hidden cramped under the stairs, all alone in the dark, the smile directed your way is like that first breath of air on your skin, the first scalding ray of sunshine falling across your face. And the first laugh you caused is indescribable. It left him hungry and aching and echoing empty. Maybe he could stop hating him, if Sora could make him smile. And Sora did. Sora could make the moon smile. So Roxas stopped, insisting Sora had overheard his silent deal with himself, and knowing full well he hadn't. I suppose you could say he 'got used' to the idea of Sora being his Other, but he will never get used to Sora being his best friend, or like the brother he never had. Sora is a different kind of person, and not a day goes by when Roxas isn't thankful for him. After all, he makes a pretty good Other.
The two live together now, roommates, hutmates, heartmates, and get along as well as two opposite sides of one heart can get along. They fight occasionally, say things they never meant to say, but when your feelings are never completely hidden from the other, it makes it hard to stay angry at someone for very long. When it comes down to it, they're different as different can be, and at times Roxas has to remind himself of that when things don't always go the way he wants them to; he loves Sora too much to constantly be berating him just because he's an OCD jerk at times. Somehow, Sora puts up with him. Roxas just hopes he'll never take it for granted.
Axel: Um. Probably the mention of Axel's name alone is enough to depress Roxas for days. I do not kid. It's complicated.
Namine: See Namine above.
-
People he can tolerate - Saix: One of Sora's friends (okay, okay, 'lovers'), Roxas has always been somewhat wary of him due to their past together in Organization XIII. He hasn't spent very much time with Saix except for random encounters, usually when Sora gets him to tag along or when he tags along because he doesn't feel it will be safe. Because of Sora and Saix's antics, Roxas has found himself in some sticky situations and usually looks upon them with a disapproving glare. He never understood much what Sora saw in Saix and still doesn't understand much. He has, however, come to respect Saix, mostly for the gentleness and care he shows for Sora. Lately, Roxas has come to see Saix as someone dependable who he can count on most of the time for various random things, and for taking care of Sora when Roxas is unable to. He appreciates his more quiet and calm nature, as well as his straightforwardness.
Reno: While the two don't exactly get along - Roxas usually sitting in a corner silently, Reno filling his ear with chatter - Reno has shown a strange steadiness that both bothers and interests the blond. He has the same sharp-tongued "I don't give a shit" attitude that Axel has, still managing to seem suave and together, even if he's not - instead of Roxas' sulking apathy. Even if that attitude is fake, Roxas likes to watch it almost morbidly, waiting and wondering when the mask would crack and wanting to be there just to see what was under it. Roxas has snapped at the man more than once, will little to no results, at most earning a look, a laugh, or a large hand ruffling his hair. If anything, Reno earns points just for being consistant. Often Roxas will go and drag Reno to the cafe just so he can read a book or listen to the red-head talk about who-knows-what. His vulgarity and coarse personality amuse Roxas more than he can explain.
Cloud: Roxas' old hutmate, the younger blond has always looked up to the older in an odd way. Oddly enough, he first met Cloud on a Moogle enforced 'date' which resulted in much awkwardness and hiding and Roxas quite possibly might have run away - I truly can't remember. It was ages ago. Either way. He doesn't know if it's Cloud's stoicness that drew Roxas towards him or what. They never really spoke much but for one or the other ordering one another out of their own respective stuff. One time, when Roxas and Sora were bored, they tried to convince Cloud that he was their father. Of course, this was all a joke, and Roxas ended up with a busted lip. Cloud hadn't believed it for a second - though the boys would like to believe they had put on a very convincing performance. Despite getting Cloud so riled, they're on decent enough terms - though there is a slight and random "oh shit he's taller and stronger and angry and I'm gonna die" fear every now and then. He tries not to get into that situation. But sometimes it's kinda hard.
Squall: The one and only time Roxas has ever met Squall - who he knows from Sora as "Leon" - was when the Moogles decided it would be a good idea to try to get the islanders to go on dates. Again. Go ahead, laugh, Roxas did in fact get stuck with both classical Final Fantasy "emo boys". Indeed. Either way, the outcome was one very reluctant and moody brunet and a protesting and grumpy blond. They didn't really become friends, or anything even relatively close, but somehow Roxas did manage to get Squall to dance by teaching him what we commonly know as the "Lucky Star" dance. Of course, you don't know this, and I don't know this, and Roxas will probably never tell for fear of getting his spleen ripped out and ending up with a scar like that. Strangely enough, I think Roxas respects him because he's a jerk - he understands that whole bad attitude thing, considering he always ends up with the guys with bad attitudes on 'dates'.
Demyx: Why he can tolerate Demyx, even Roxas does not understand. I think he finds him funny, due to the blank I'm-amused-but-not-going-to-smile-or-laugh Roxas look that sort of glazes over. But uh. Y'know. It's hard to tell. Perhaps it's the pure goof that Demyx exudes at times.
Kairi: Roxas hasn't really talked to her much yet, but feels a need to make sure she's okay at times. Of course, he blames all this on Sora. The one time they came face-to-face, Roxas merely asked her for a hair pin to keep his shaggy hair out of the way. She didn't have any hair pins, but she said his hair looked perfectly okay the way it was. He, in turn, rubbed this in Sora's face, and went to seek hair pins somewhere else.
-
People he can't stand - Luneth: Loony Loopy Luneth... Why yes, I am a giant HP nerd, however, that has nothing to do with anything.
Repliku:
Zexion: One of the original six Nobodies in the Organization, he's Roxas' superior. However, the blond see's him as a stuck-up, who thinks-he-knows-it-all. Roxas has only bumped into him only once or twice on the island, but that was obviously more than enough. Zexion seems to hold a particular grudge against Roxas for having been Xemnas' pet and favorite amongst the Organization Nobodies, though Roxas really can't imagine why anyone would want to be considered Xemnas' favorite. Roxas, in turn, is pretty damn bitter about the fact that Axel and Zexion, who were "Aboveground Members" and "Belowground Members" respectively and as such should sort of hate each other (and the fact that Axel had a hand in Zexion's murder), have a better relationship than Axel and Roxas do, who are supposed to be best friends. Oy. Either way, Zexion is a git. But at least he's not taller than Roxas, for once.
Larxene: Barely Roxas' superior, the woman takes particular delight in harrassing him. Not that she doesn't wholly enjoy torturing everyone - but it's like Roxas might just be that much more enjoyable because he's Sora's Other. And maybe the fact that his Other is still alive. An unfortunate fascination to say the least. She likes to call him her "baby boy" and often refers to him with other childlike names. Larxene was also the one who gave Roxas the scar between his shoulder blades, carving his own number - XIII - there with her kunai. She enjoys making him bleed - she enjoys making everyone bleed, in a sense - but since the first scar, has been strangely careful not to leave another. Go ahead, stab her in the face, Roxas might actually smile - or just sigh in relief.
