Canon Background

Firion lived with Maria and her brother Leon in the kingdom of Fynn, essentially like a brother to the two. Along with those two, Firion was also close to Guy, another resident of that kingdom. Unfortunately, Emperor Palamecia sent his demons out to attack the kingdom, killing the four youths' parents and leaving Firion and his friends for dead.

Firion, Maria, and Guy are rescued by Princess Hilda of Fynn, who convinces them to join the Rebel Army against the emperor. Unfortunately, Leon is nowhere to be found, and Maria is especially worried about him. 

These three members of the Rebel Army are accompanied by various others, such as Minwu, Josef, Ricard, and Gordon, to aid in their mission of defeating the Empire.  Unfortunately, Josef and Ricard are lost along the way, yet the party encounters the Emperor's right-hand man, the Dark Knight. After defeating Emperor Palamecia for the first time, the Dark Knight reveals himself as Leon and eventually joins the trio to finally put an end to the Emperor, who has now become the King of Hell and has revived as an undead entity.

The group finally defeats the Emperor for good, while Leon decides that his actions in aiding the evil Emperor could never be forgiven, and leaves for good. Firion says that he will gladly welcome him back with open arms when he decides to return. Everyone then lives happily ever after. The end.

•  Likes - Fighting for the good of all, going on adventures, stabbing himself with his sword so he levels up faster.

•  Fears - Losing those he loves.
•  Strengths - A very kind and dedicated warrior. He is dedicated to fighting for the good of the world.
•  Weaknesses- Has a tendency to bear grudges and not think through things enough.
•  Hobbies - Sword fighting, exploring, reading.

•  Appearance - Firion is a handsome young man, with medium-length white hair that is sometimes held back with decorated bandanas. He always wears his hair in a short ponytail as well. He sports a suit of armor and a cape, truly looking the part of a warrior hero. He is lean and slightly muscular from all the fighting he has done.

•   Personality - Firion does not have much of a personality throughout the game. His primary concern is avenging the death of his family by defeating the Emperor.

   

  Overall, he seems to be your typical Final Fantasy hero: strong-willed, caring, determined, fights for the good of all, etc. His flaw is that he seems more concerned about vengeance than finding Leon or anything else. Of course, wanting to murder the one who destroyed your family and village is understandable, but perhaps this is indicative of a potential to bear grudges.

   

   

  However, it is shown that he is indeed a caring and forgiving person as well. When it was found that Leon was working as the emperor's dark knight, he forgave Leon after he joined up with them. He even said that he would welcome him back "with open arms". So, even though this man was the one who fought them on several occasions, he was still able to forgive him and see the good in him.

   

  Firion cares deeply for those close to him, and would do anything to help them. Sometimes he acts rashly and does not give as much thought to certain things.

Moogle Island History

•   Doings - Firion, Maria, Larsa, and Rikku went off to rescue Penelo, who was captured by Renegades. They freed Penelo, but sadly this was in exchange for Larsa's freedom. Firion is currently fighting the Renegades.

•    Regained Memories/Powers - He remembered Maria and how they've known each other for a very long time. Upon meeting her, he instantly remembered how he cherished her as a sister. Slowly but surely, he is remembering how the Empire invaded his homeland and killed his parents. Obviously, this causes much anger on his part.

 Relationships

•   Intimate - Nobody yet, although he might have feelings for someone...
•   Friends - 

Penelo - Helped Firion understand how a computer works. Since has become good friends with her and would do anything for her.

Maria - Like a sister to Firion, meeting her helped him regain some of his memories of his life before Moogle Island. She is always there for him and provides a rational light.

Rikku - Firion does not know her too well, but she gladly helped him and Maria rescue Penelo.

Larsa - Firion does not know him well either and was initially wary of him, but was deeply saddened when Larsa gave up his freedom in order to rescue Penelo.

The Renegades - First they invaded the island for no good reason, then they captured Penelo and exchanged her freedom for Larsa's. The Renegades have brought up unpleasant memories of Firion's former life in Fynn.
